Intercept Data Collection at Flanders Field American Cemetery

Over the past 16 months, the Eppley Center has led a project extension with the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) to collect visitor use data at three new sites in Belgium and France—Flanders Field American Cemetery, Rhone American Cemetery, and Montsec American Monument. This project extension adds to the work of a Visitor Use and Satisfaction Study Eppley has led on behalf of ABMC since 2021, and the three new sites are added to 10 ABMC sites that were part of the original study. The updated project extension report was delivered in January 2025, which summarizes the results of more than 4,000 visitor surveys that have been collected in six languages—and in seven countries over the past three years. The Eppley team has been thrilled to partner with ABMC on this project! Please reach out to us at eplyhelp@iu.edu if you have questions about how a visitor use survey can inform strategy and management of your park or public land site(s).
